…that western art could be so interesting and beautiful?

The weather has been so yucky around here lately! Cold and wet grossness has forced us to find more things to do  indoors. Boo! But as always, we will make the best of it.

The Museum, as the name implies, is all about western art (ie: cowboys, indians, civil war, etc.). Not usually the type of things that show up on my radar. Super surprise….I loved it! The paintings were phenomenally beautiful, the sculptures were fascinating, and the photography was stunning.

Oh and did I mention….there was also an Ansel Adams exhibit. Yeah, Ansel Adams, the man! I could have stood staring as his photography for hours. He is the inspiration for thousands of nature photographers out there. Including this one.

Stunning photography. The kind that makes you feel like you’re there, or at the very least, desperately want to be there.

I left there wanting to get on a plane and fly to Yellowstone or San Francisco.
